About This Princess Birthday Invitation Template

The frame layout looks like the border of an old storybook page. A gold tiara set with a pink heart crowns the top edge, lilac ribbon bows tie up the two upper corners, and pink roses climb both sides. Two castles with lilac turrets and small gold pennants guard the bottom corners, a star-tipped wand trimmed with a pink bow rests against the right-hand roses, and tiny gold sparkles and hearts fill the gaps.

The center card layout is a painted scene instead: a hilltop castle and an arched stone bridge in the distance, a gold crown resting on a velvet cushion with tassels, a garden lantern, folds of pink satin and roses in full bloom. The child's name gets a flowing italic script in deep rose, the one fancy flourish on the card; the lines below it use a sturdy, rounded face, so grandparents can read the time without hunting for their glasses.

Three layouts

  • Princess birthday invitation template, Center card

    Center card

Castle, crown cushion and roses surround a white panel topped by a rose-colored age badge. The richest and most painterly of the three.

  • Princess birthday invitation template, Framed

    Framed

The tiara, ribbons and castles keep to the border and leave a pale blush middle, the calmest option and the easiest one to print well.

  • Princess birthday invitation template, With photo

    With photo

A circular portrait of your child is placed just under the tiara, so the photo is quite literally crowned. A shot in a dress-up outfit suits it nicely.

Three color schemes

  • Rose garden
  • Amethyst
  • Crown gold

A scheme recolors the lettering, badge and QR code, never the artwork.

Who This Princess Invitation Is For

Royal parties are asked for most between about three and seven, often once dress-up has become the main game at home. A kingdom, unlike one particular princess, does not go out of date when a favorite story changes, and no guest has to look like anyone in order to belong.

Parents choosing it are usually planning for a daughter, but a royal party can be for anyone: knights, kings and dragon-tamers welcome. With Crown gold the lettering turns warmer and less pink, and Amethyst sits between the two.

Princess Birthday Invitation Wording

Royal wording is half the fun here. Keep what goes on the card short and courtly, and let the RSVP page carry the practical details.

Heading
Hear ye! A royal invitation
Not on the With photo layout.
Age
Celebrating 5 royal years
Your own line
Tea, crowns and a royal ball. Gowns, capes and armor encouraged!
RSVP line
Kindly send word to the castle before March 20
Note to Guests (RSVP page)
The royal tea is at the Rosewood Tea Room from 11 to 1. Each guest decorates a crown to keep, so there is no need to bring one, though costumes are very welcome. Any allergies? Mention them and the kitchen will be told.

Printing tips for this design

  • The gold on the tiara, wand and pennants is printed color, not foil, so on paper it comes out a warm honey yellow rather than shiny. Matte or soft-sheen card stock keeps it rich and stops the QR code from catching the light.

Princess Party Ideas to Match

  • Crown decorating table

Plain card or foam crowns, self-adhesive gems and a few markers, set out as guests arrive so early birds have something to do. Keep loose gems away from children under three; they are a choking risk.

  • A proper royal tea

Pour juice or pink lemonade from a teapot into plastic teacups, with finger sandwiches cut into hearts and crowns. Children feel very grand pouring for one another.

  • Castle photo spot

A big cardboard box painted pink, with a row of battlements cut along the top, makes a backdrop that echoes the castles in the card corners.

  • Royal ball freeze dance

Everyone dances while the music plays; when it stops, they freeze in a curtsy or a bow. The last one still wobbling chooses the next song.

Princess Invitation Template FAQ

Does this princess card show a princess character?

No. It shows castles, a tiara, a wand and roses with no person drawn on it, so it fits any child who wants a royal party. Pick With photo and your own child appears under the tiara.

Would it suit a knights-and-princesses party for a son?

Yes. Choose Crown gold for a less pink look and rewrite the heading, for example "Knights and princesses, assemble!". The roses and castles stay, so it suits a mixed royal party best.

What ages is the princess invitation for?

Mostly three to seven. A toddler works too: enter 2 as the age and both the badge and the age line update. Older children planning a tea party often prefer the quieter frame layout.

Is this template really free?

Yes, all of it. Downloading the card and seeing replies need a free account.

Do guests need an account to RSVP?

No. They scan the code or open the link, then enter their child's name, who is coming and any food allergies.

Can the card be in another language?

Yes, any of eight, chosen above the form; the guests' RSVP page follows it.
