About This Rainbow Birthday Invitation Template
Six soft bands (pink, peach, butter yellow, mint, sky blue and lilac) arc across the top, and a round yellow sun laughs out from behind a cloud in the corner. Bunches of balloons tied with ribbon bows float up both sides, while curly streamers, dots and little hearts in the same six colors drift down toward two smaller rainbows tucked into the bottom corners. When the details move onto a white panel, the clouds themselves get faces, eyes squeezed shut and cheeks pink, as if the whole sky had turned up for the party.
The name is in fat, rounded bubble letters in watermelon red, with the heading and the time picked out in blue, so the card borrows more than one color from its own sky. Nobody is pictured, only weather and party things, which makes it an easy pick for a toddler whose favorites have not settled yet.
Three layouts

Center card
The big rainbow and the laughing sun rise behind a white panel, smiling clouds gather underneath, and a watermelon-red badge shows the age.

Framed
The rainbow arches over the top and the balloons line the sides, leaving a warm cream oval in the middle that fits even a long park and shelter name.

With photo
The child's photo goes right under the rainbow in a round frame, so the arc hangs over their head like a crown of color.
Three color schemes
- Watermelon
- Grape
- Tangerine
A scheme recolors the lettering, badge and QR code, never the artwork.
Who This Rainbow Invitation Is For
A rainbow card works from a second birthday up to about seven, and it is one of the easiest themes for a toddler, who will point at the sun and the balloons long before reading a word. It also suits a joint party for siblings or twins, since nobody has to give up a favorite character for the other.
The design is gender-neutral: its colors are the whole spectrum, not pink or blue. Watermelon is the boldest scheme; Tangerine feels summery and suits an outdoor party in the park.

Rainbow Party Ideas to Match
Color scavenger hunt
Hand out paper bags with six colored dots drawn on each and send the children to find one thing of each color around the yard. Toddlers can hunt hand in hand with a grown-up.
Fruit rainbow
Strawberries, orange slices, pineapple, green grapes, blueberries and purple grapes laid out in arcs on a long platter. For the under-threes, quarter every grape and blueberry, since whole ones are a choking hazard.
Paper plate rainbows
Cut paper plates in half and let kids glue on strips of tissue paper in rainbow order, with a cotton ball cloud at each end. It buys fifteen quiet minutes in the middle of the party.
Sunny face cookies
Round sugar cookies iced yellow, with a big smile and pink cheeks piped on, just like the sun in the corner of the card.
Rainbow Invitation Template FAQ
Is the rainbow invitation fine for a boy?
Yes. It is gender-neutral, with no characters, only a rainbow, sun, clouds and balloons in every color. Choose Grape or Tangerine if you would rather not lead with red.
Can twins share one rainbow card?
Yes. Type both names into the name field, such as "Ivy & Hazel", and swap the age wording for "Both turning 4!" or similar. The number keeps following the age you set.
Does it suit a second birthday?
It does. Enter 2 as the age; the badge and the "Turning" line update on their own. Big, simple shapes like a sun and balloons are easy for a toddler to recognize and name.
Is this template really free?
Yes, all of it. Downloading the card and seeing replies need a free account.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They scan the code or open the link, then enter their child's name, who is coming and any food allergies.
Can the card be in another language?
Yes, any of eight, chosen above the form; the guests' RSVP page follows it.
