About This Purple Birthday Invitation Template
The ground is a very pale lilac, almost white, and the stars carry all the color: large orchid ones crowding the top corners, lavender and violet ones trailing down the sides, and a single big gold star with a glitter texture tucked into the lower left. Small gold and peach sparkles keep the purple from feeling heavy. On the center card layout, rows of lilac, rose and peach dots run behind the panel as well.
Violet bubble letters spell the name, with a dark aubergine age line beneath and a QR code that blends from violet into berry and bronze. Because the stars keep to the edges in every layout, the middle of the card stays quiet and the lettering has nothing to compete with.
Three layouts

Center card
Dots and stars cover the whole background, the text goes on a cream panel, and the age sits in a violet badge with a scalloped edge: the most festive of the three.

Framed
Big orchid stars at the top, a gold one in the bottom corner, and a lilac clearing between them that comfortably takes a venue name plus a street address.

With photo
A violet ring holds the photo above the name inside the same star border. Older kids often prefer a recent photo of themselves to a cartoon, and this layout gives them that.
Three color schemes
- Violet
- Berry
- Antique gold
A scheme recolors the lettering, badge and QR code, never the artwork.
Who This Purple Invitation Is For
Purple tends to win with children who have outgrown the loudest primaries but still want color: often eight to twelve, though a younger sibling who adores purple is just as happy with it. Nothing about it is coded boy or girl. It is one color and a sky full of stars.
It is a strong choice for a shared celebration. Twins, two best friends with birthdays a week apart, or cousins can split one card, with both names in the name line and a single QR code collecting every reply. Antique gold suits purple-and-gold decorations; Berry gives a pinker finish.
Purple Birthday Invitation Wording
Purple sounds a little royal and a little dramatic, which leaves older kids room to play. Here are lines that fit the editable parts of the card, a note for the RSVP page and a message for the class group chat.

Purple Party Ideas to Match
Tie-dye in violet
Plain white T-shirts or pillowcases, rubber bands, and squeeze bottles of purple and magenta dye. Work outdoors on plastic sheeting with gloves on, and send each piece home in a zip bag to set overnight.
Friendship bracelet bar
Lilac, violet and gold thread with a dish of star beads. At a joint party, each birthday child makes one for the other. Keep the beads well away from any toddler siblings.
All-purple snack board
Purple grapes, blackberries, plum slices, purple carrots with dip and blueberry muffins. Cut the grapes lengthwise if younger children will be eating them.
Gold star photo wall
Tape purple streamers in a curtain against one wall and add a few gold foil stars. It becomes the spot for pictures of the two birthday kids together.
Purple Invitation Template FAQ
Can two children share this purple invitation?
Yes. Put both names in the name line, like "Elena & Zara", and rewrite the age line without a number (for example "Best friends' birthday bash"), since a single age would only fit one of them. Every reply arrives in one list.
Is it too young-looking for a 12-year-old?
Usually not. The frame layout is the most understated, with just stars around a pale middle and no badge, and the photo layout lets a tween put their own picture on it. The center card, with its dots and badge, is the playful option.
Can I match it to purple and gold party decorations?
Choose Antique gold to turn the name, badge and QR code golden, or keep Violet and nudge the background tint in the style panel. You can also pick an exact lettering color to match your balloons.
Is this template really free?
Yes, all of it. Downloading the card and seeing replies need a free account.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They scan the code or open the link, then enter their child's name, who is coming and any food allergies.
Can the card be in another language?
Yes, any of eight, chosen above the form; the guests' RSVP page follows it.
