About This Pool Party Birthday Invitation Template
The whole border is a swimming pool seen from above, its white tiled edge curving around a pale mint deck in the middle. Floating in the water are a pink flamingo with a black-tipped beak, a yellow pineapple ring, a pink donut tube with rainbow sprinkles, an orange, teal and yellow striped life ring, two beach balls and two pairs of sunglasses, one pink and one yellow. Pink hibiscus and palm fronds spill over the corners, and a cartoon sun beams down from a blue sky at the top. There are no people on the card, only the toys, so any child can picture themselves in that water.
Fine ripples run all through the pool and catch the light the way real water does on a July afternoon. The child's name is a teal brush script the same color as the deep end, the age line is a heavy dark navy, and the date, time and place sit in plain type on the dry deck where the ripples never reach.
Three layouts

Center card
The view widens to a poolside with palm trees on a far shore: a flamingo, a watermelon ring and a pineapple ring float around the white panel, a pink-and-yellow towel with heart-shaped sunglasses lies on the deck, and the age sits in a teal badge.

Framed
The water wraps all four sides like the edge of the pool itself, and your details stay high and dry on the mint deck in the middle.

With photo
A teal-ringed circle for a photo takes the top of the deck, between a beach ball and the flamingo; a summer snapshot in goggles or a sun hat fits right in.
Three color schemes
- Deep end blue
- Life ring orange
- Flamingo pink
A scheme recolors the lettering, badge and QR code, never the artwork.
Who This Pool Party Invitation Is For
Pool birthdays are a summer favorite from about age four, once kids are at ease around water, up into the early teens, and the bright floats on this card suit that whole span. It works for an indoor aquatic center in February as much as a backyard pool in July, and plenty of parents use it for a splash pad, a lake beach or a sprinkler party in the yard.
If you were hunting for a pool party invitation template that also keeps track of who is coming, this one sends every reply to you along with each family's headcount and allergies. Deep end blue is cool and sporty, Life ring orange is warm and sunny, and Flamingo pink is the brightest of the three; the water and beach balls keep the card neutral for boys, girls or a joint party.

Printing tips for this design
- Most of the border is turquoise water full of fine ripples. Print on the best quality setting and check your cyan ink first: a low cartridge turns the pool a dull green long before the text shows any fading.
Pool Party Party Ideas to Match
A water watcher at all times
Name one adult whose only job is watching the water, phone in a pocket, and swap every 15 minutes so nobody drifts off. Even with a lifeguard on duty, keep a parent poolside, and keep weak swimmers and toddlers within arm's reach.
Float and noodle games
Pool noodle races, a beach ball push across the shallow end, or sinking rings to dive for in waist-deep water. Keep games in water where every child can stand.
Towel and sunscreen station
A basket of spare towels, a big bottle of sunscreen to reapply after each swim, and a shady spot with water bottles. Someone always forgets a towel, and nobody wants a sunburned birthday.
Snacks away from the edge
Set the food on a table well back from the pool so wet feet do not run between them: watermelon wedges, pineapple chunks to match the float on the card, and freezer pops. Call a short snack break out of the water so everyone takes a rest.
Pool Party Invitation Template FAQ
What should a pool party invitation tell guests to bring?
A swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes, plus goggles if they like them and swim diapers for babies and toddlers. The short version fits in your own line on the card, and the full list goes in the Note to Guests on the RSVP page.
Where do I say whether parents should stay?
In the Note to Guests. Families read it when they open the RSVP page, before they answer, so it is the right place for "please stay and swim with children under seven" or a note about lifeguards.
Can I add a photo of my child?
Choose the With photo layout and upload one in the form. It appears in a teal circle at the top of the deck, under the sun, with the floats all around.
Is this template really free?
Yes, all of it. Downloading the card and seeing replies need a free account.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They scan the code or open the link, then enter their child's name, who is coming and any food allergies.
Can the card be in another language?
Yes, any of eight, chosen above the form; the guests' RSVP page follows it.
