About This Dinosaur Birthday Invitation Template
The artwork is a sunny prehistoric valley. A long-necked dino peeks over the top, a pterodactyl glides past the volcano, and an orange stegosaurus and a triceratops stand among ferns and palms at the edges. Every dinosaur is round-faced and grinning, so the card says fun rather than fierce, which matters when half the guest list is three or four.
The name and age are set in a chunky, rounded display face that holds its own against all that green; the date, time and address use a plain face that stays easy to read at the size a 4×6 card allows. The text never sits on the busy jungle: it has its own cream or white panel, so it prints crisply even on an everyday inkjet. The QR code is never smaller than a fifth of the card's width, about 2 cm when printed.
Three layouts

Center card
The jungle fills the whole card and your details sit on a white panel in the middle, with the age in an orange badge on top. The boldest of the three.

Framed
The dinosaurs crowd the edges and leave a wide cream clearing in the middle, so a long address still fits on two easy lines.

With photo
The same jungle frame with a round photo of your child above the name. Upload it in the form; a clear, front-facing photo looks best at this size.
Three color schemes
- Volcano orange
- Lagoon teal
- Fern green
A scheme recolors the lettering, badge and QR code, never the artwork.
Who This Dinosaur Invitation Is For
Dinosaur parties are most popular from about age three to eight. Nothing on this card is scary (no claws, no roaring T. rex chasing anyone), so it suits a preschool or kindergarten class, while the bright, detailed jungle still feels big-kid enough for a second grader.
It is not a boys-only card. Plenty of girls are the biggest dino fans in the class; if you want a softer look, choose Lagoon teal or Fern green, or pick any color you like for the name in the style panel.
Dinosaur Birthday Invitation Wording
The card has a few lines you can rewrite in the form: the heading, the age line, your own line and the RSVP line. Here are dinosaur-themed ideas that fit them, plus wording for the RSVP page and for sending the link.
- Heading
- Roar on over!
- Not on the With photo layout.
- Age
- Turning 5 and dino-mite!
- Your own line
- Fossil dig and dino games. Come dressed for the jungle!
- RSVP line
- Stomp over to RSVP by June 5
- Note to Guests (RSVP page)
- We'll be outside digging for fossils in the sandpit, so clothes that can get dirty are perfect. Siblings are welcome; just add them to your reply.
- Message with the link
- Hi! Leo is turning 5 and having a dinosaur party on Saturday, June 13. Here's the invitation, and you can reply right from the link.

Printing tips for this design
- The jungle edges are full of greens: print with the "best" or "high" quality setting so the leaves keep their detail, and use matte card stock so the QR code does not catch the light when guests scan it.
Dinosaur Party Ideas to Match
Fossil dig
Bury plastic dinosaurs and a few "bones" (painted clothespins work) in a sandpit or a tub of play sand, and hand out paintbrushes and spoons. Kids keep what they find as the party favor.
Dino egg hunt
Hide plastic eggs with a tiny dinosaur inside each one around the yard or living room. Count them first so you know when every egg is found.
Erupting volcano
Baking soda, vinegar, a drop of red food coloring and a paper-cup volcano on a tray. Thirty seconds of science that every five-year-old will ask to repeat.
Prehistoric snack table
Dino-shaped nuggets, "swamp" green grapes, and a cake with a few clean toy dinosaurs walking across it. The toys go home with the birthday child.
Dinosaur Invitation Template FAQ
Is this dinosaur invitation okay for a girl?
Yes. The art is friendly cartoon dinosaurs, not anything aimed only at boys. Lagoon teal or Fern green give the lettering a softer look, and you can pick your own color for the name.
Can I change "Turning 5!" to something more dinosaur-y?
Yes. The age line is yours to rewrite, for example "Turning 5 and dino-mite!". While the number stays in the line, it changes on its own if you correct the age.
Can I put my child's photo on the dinosaur template?
Choose the With photo layout and upload a picture in the form. The photo sits in a round frame above the name, with the jungle around it.
Is this template really free?
Yes, all of it. Downloading the card and seeing replies need a free account.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They scan the code or open the link, then enter their child's name, who is coming and any food allergies.
Can the card be in another language?
Yes, any of eight, chosen above the form; the guests' RSVP page follows it.
